dont talk to strangers
Today I went to reception for Columbia university, 52nd floor of Bank of America building in SF, nice fancy expensive and dudes around every corner waiting to kick you out. On the way to and fro there were cosplaying girls, hehe one dressed as 50s country girl was cute, other sailor moon was creepy. Ive been asked what i want to study so many times now.. I always just say philsophy.. but what about philosophy do i really like, well this is the closest ive gotten to that answer

Im interested in people, people and people, people meeting people, friends, communities, society, humanity, interlocking web of relationships…
there are rich people, poor people, crazy people, out going people, shy people, weird people, normal people, whos to judge whos better
but then.. theres lonely people… everyone feels sorry for lonely people, perhaps that above all is the most absolute negative trait for a human,(then there are botanists and such.. i dunno how that works, maybe a nonhuman community more or less serves the same purpose?)

Well loneliness is easy… 1(sad and lonely person)+1(sad and lonely person)= 2(happy and not lonely people)… so why doesnt it always work out, why does it so often not work out.. why is it so hard for something so simple to work out…….

yup theres my senior thesis haha… i’ll get laughed out of Columbia >0)

wonder if theres some “social construct” at work in hindering people getting together, or maybe this is as together as it gets - although id like to think otherwise
